BIOGRAPHY

Mohammed Motala is a Director at Venns and Head of the litigation department. He specialises in commercial and financial litigation.

Mohammed has extensive experience in High Court litigation, mediation, and arbitration with an emphasis on banking, commercial evictions, recovery of high-value debt, complex and high-value contractual disputes, corporate disputes, property-finance-related disputes, and general contractual claims.

Mr Motala is also a registered liquidator on the National Panel of liquidators in South Africa and a certified Business Rescue Practitioner.

Mohammed has acted for a variety of clients, including major banks and other financial institutions, state-owned entities, major real-estate companies, insolvency practitioners and other large international and domestic companies.
